- Select the approved shelter, evacuation or early-closure action for the specific warning.
- Monitor official sources, access routes and workforce accountability.
Supervisors / wardens
- Stop exposed activities and move people by the nominated route.
- Report people needing assistance and hazards affecting egress.
Control Room / technical support
- Monitor site systems remotely and record alarms or loss of services.
- Apply approved shutdown or isolation actions only within authority and safe conditions.

WHEN THE IMMEDIATE DANGER HAS PASSED
Recovery and reporting
- Wait for official and site authorisation before return.
- Inspect access, structures, electrical systems and critical equipment before use.
- Treat floodwater and storm/fire residue as potentially contaminated.
- Record warnings, decisions, accountability and damage.
- Review whether triggers and early-action timeframes were adequate.
